VENTNOR CITY EDUCATION FOUNDATION

The Ventnor City School District has formed an Education Foundation to provide educational benefits to the children in the Ventnor City Schools by conducting fundraising activities. Membership is open to all interested community members including business leaders, educators, concerned citizens, parents and Board of Education members. The annual time commitment is no more than one to five hours annually.

If you are interested in joining this diverse and interesting group of people from the Greater Ventnor City Area and would like to make a difference in children’s educational experiences, please contact Terri Nowotny, Business Administrator, Ventnor City School District at 487-7900 x 5130 or email tnowotny@veccnj.org.

The Ventnor City Education Foundation, at its Meeting held May 31, 2018, set the following dates for its meetings, which will be held in the Superintendent’s Conference Room at the Ventnor Educational Community Complex, 400 N. Lafayette Avenue, Ventnor, New Jersey. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.

VCEF VISION STATEMENT

To expand and enhance the educational, affective and recreational experiences for students, staff, parents and all community stakeholders of the Ventnor Public Schools.

VCEF MISSION STATEMENT

The Ventnor Educational Foundation will provide funding and volunteer support for activities and projects that are above and beyond those provided by the Board of Education, The Ventnor Home/School association and other support groups.

Initial endeavors will focus on student scholarships and teacher mini grants. Longer range endeavors may include specialized equipment and special student trips/activities
